Unable to block people

I was watching a game with Hikaru, playing Sam_ChessMood, and someone started spamming the N word, so I tried to report and block them, but I kept seeing their messages. is this a glitch?

Mines the opposite, it blocks random people.

chess.com's blocking system is kind of broken to be honest

you can't post on someone's forum but you can see all their messages

and you can still play a blocked person in an arena

I remember blocking someone when they where spamming, and either they stopped spamming and never said anything again, or they continued spamming and I couldn't see it because I blocked them.

Was this on chessTV?

I don't remember, but I already reported them. hopefully chess.com has removed their account.
