USCF Affiliate/USCF Online tournaments

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on whether this would be a worthwhile addition to the Great Lakes Live Chess League. I was thinking of hosting a USCF online tournament each week, but it would be a fruitless effort if nobody is interested. Whatdya think?

depends on time/day of the week. I couldn't commit for a full year due to being in Alaska for 5 to 6 months and the time change, etc.
