Using Chunkbase is cheating or not?

Now, I’m here with a controversial question with this thread: Is it cheating, or not?

For anyone doesn’t know: Chunkbase is a website shows every structure, biome, chest for seed.

Wellll it can be considered cheating bcs if it wasnt cheating the game would give it to u
but I dont have a problem using it. I use it bcs for me it makes the game more fun to have a map of the world. But for other players the might prefer to explore blind. I love chunkbase.

First you need to find the seed. On things like donutsmp maybe it’s considered cheating but nobody knows what the seed is. 

personally, I use a lot of things people call “cheating” like world minimaps, fullbright, or ore outlines. But I wouldn’t consider it cheating unless it is on a server

In servers it is definitely cheating, I’n asking if it is in singleplayer

I don’t think fullbright and outlined ores are cheating, they only help caving

And if unloaded chunks are not visible I think minimaps are also not cheating

I would say it is cheating if you are playing with others or on a server, as it gives an unfair advantage. Otherwise in singleplayer, I use it all the time, I love it. It helps to keep my world size in check.

It makes it illegitimate regardless of if its in singleplayer or not. The whole point of survival is that you are in a mysterious world where you must explore to gather resources.

honestly its up to the player, in a single player world. In multiplayer its too OP.

I think chunkbase is fine in single player.If it's in multiplayer I would say it's cheating bc other players won't have that, but if it's just single player you can do whatever makes playing more fun for you personally

if cheating is considered unfair play, then I would say it’s only cheating if it’s unfair. If everyone on the server is using the same mod, who cares?

Its also ok if your trying to find a good hunter s vs speed runners map with your freinds to use with them.

I still think it is cheating. It's just /locating something, really.

minecraft is game where u can do wharever u want, for me even xray and hacking techinically are not cheating unless in multiplayer, but u also shouldnt say to ppl "this is my no cheats world" and u use fly or whatever

its a last resort for me. I looked everywhere for a fortress, couldnt find it, so went to chunkbase. justified
