We really need a few really good players (to me this currently in games 1800+) to field a good back up team here.

At the moment we have a handful of people under 1550.

Please register your interest otherwise I might have to withdraw our team's position as back up, as there are a few teams ranked in the top 500 on this site, so it's going to be pretty fierce competition.

These are screenshots from the organizer's club she started just for this Tourney:

We also need a VC captain, let me know if you are interested (any rating) I have excellent VC rules from End Game Lovers Club that we worked on quite a bit, pretty slick rules and am happy to post these to this club so that the VC captain knows exactly what to do, even if they have never done it before.

You do need to be able to pop in every day for at least 5 minutes and see what the most popular moves are.

It would be best if you can be here at good English times if you know what I mean, BFS is English so am guessing the tourney will start 3pm - 8pm GMT / UT.

What exactly does a VC captain do id be one but im  low rated and I think a better reated person would be better as a captain, thoe im only online 5 days out of the week.

Great question, I will post a forum stealing the rules of our EGL vote chess, as I feel they are the best and tightest VC rules I have come across.

(I personally think quite a strict approach is usually the best way, even though have only been playing VC for a year happy.png)

It's not about how good you are at chess, it's about being good at seeing what the popular consensus is, sometimes I think it helps to be low rated as the VC is pretty much there just to harness the horses    : )

You usually only have to work out which move seems to have the most support.

What time of those week days are you able to pop onto this site?

RIght yeh, tricky happy.png

Thanks for keeping the convo going, I've contacted the tourney director and we'll see if we can get some more interest in this club by Sunday before we become a definite entry I think.

You know what Brudo, if you or anyone else asks to join this club : https://www.chess.com/club/votechess/anti-nazi-league, they have heaps of Vote Chess games going that they need more members for.

I am super busy for several days but I like being part of games with really good players, so I can just read the discussions before the moves, and learn a lot about chess. Hopefully.
