Variant Idea

Pushing Pawns: Berolina and regular pawn can move one way and capture the other. What if they could always move and they would push the other pieces diagonally backwards or straight backwards respectively when they could not capture. If there is another piece or a brick behind it does not work. If there is the edge of the board or a void square then then piece dies when it moves there. It does not work with 2 space moves from the home rank or torpedo. I think this could be a really cool variant on similar lines to sideways pawns and torpedo.

Alternatively, since this seems like a new rule

Please post these ideas in https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/new-position-workshop-testing-thread.

it isn't a position, which is the main point for the testing thread. i think it is an idea for a new gamerule, so use the link of the comment above by blueyoshi.

grable is also no longer part of the CGA.

I get that. And after rereading the rules, I learn this thread is perfectly fine.
