Is this some sort of bug? When I tried to capture the rook with the bishop, it wouldn't let me capture it.

I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but it seems like it's a teams game lol, seems like a strange mistake to make though

It's a rook

In general, if you think you found a bug on the Variants server you should post in the Variants club

I have found many times where the pieces just sit on top of each other instead of jumping.
