Great idea! I would love to see other variants in daily chess. I think Bughouse and other variants like crazyhouse may be hard, though. The other ones you mentioned as well as Antichess, Horde, and (possibly) atomic chess would be great to add to daily and to live.

We do have an initiative here to share more technology between the Daily and Live systems, and so variants might be part of that in the coming years! Adding specific variants are not now on the tech roadmap, but I wanted to let you know that we should expect fewer differences soon.
I have a suggestion, at live chess, there are lots of variants but at daily, it is only standard and 960. Why not add, King Of The Hill, Crazyhouse and 3 Check to daily chess, and maybe Bughouse too?
