Variants with more than 4 players

I know that 4 player chess is soon going to be moved to the main server, and I was thinking about how this might cause 4 player chess to become much more popular, meaning that it might be easier to find people to play with.

Based on this I was thinking that maybe five player chess on a pentagonal board, and/or six player chess on a hexagonal board could be added.  Maybe for 6 player chess the board could have hexagonal tiles instead of square tiles.

I think having variants with a few more than 4 players would be more reasonable than 50 player chess.  Interestingly I found that the five player chess boards I found have 5 center squares, which means that one bishop can get to any square on the board.  In 6 player chess you could have 3 teams of 2 players or 2 teams of 3 players, and if you have 3 teams of 2 players then that could be like a cross between FFA and Teams.

I think hes referring to my picture of snip and sketch madness

so theres this app called snip and sketch, and you take screenshots with it, so what I did was that I opened two windows, then took a snip of snip and sketch, then opened another one to take a screenshot of that one, and so on
