general, archbishop and knight are normally just useless (promotion) since amazon has all abilities they have, while wildebeests have camel movement, knight rider has long range knight movement

and also, it is asymmetrical due to the placements of the extra pawns

oh and lastly, castling is now not the way you think would be due to the board size, castling queenside means moving the rook towards the king

though pushing the extra stone generals (pawns that can only move and capture diagonally) and promoting them would waste 8 moves, which is a lot in the opening phase of chess, also, if one side pushes, the other can copy and nothing is really accomplished, and also, my version has one flaw, if white promotes first, they can actually stop black, so good luck finding the best way to make a similar one

Seems like the asymmetric pawn placement gives black a slight advantage, since the white amazon can’t get on to the board as easily as the black one can. This is probably fine, since white gets a small advantage from the first move.

This is just straight up just standard chess with an extra piece, pretty generic + the promoting gimmick is just redundant since everyone is gonna promote to an amazon and you can achieve the same thing but better by having a setup bank with setup complete on.

it is like chess but very very weak:

The king is now a sergeant, the bishops, knights and rooks got replaced by Ferzes, Xianqii and Wazirs and the queen is now a king (Wowy)

Also, your pawns (and the royal sergeant) can promote to any pieces + an inv wall (I thought it was funny
