I think all of the national teams ( or at least those that play in the WL) should have the green verification badge and players should be suggested to join their national team.

Or some special badge for the World League participants

On Chess.com we usually say "national team" to refer to the team representing a country in World League. Most of those teams are not affiliated to actual chess federations of said countries, which would be a criteria to get the green badge. Some are though, and usually they have the badge.

Then they can create a special badge for the World league.

I feel like every club made by chess.com is verified

I would disagree. "National teams" on chess.com are very difficult to qualify. Each nation will have to have a federally agreed upon set of rules and the U.S. is a prime example of a country with a discombobulated situation in the chess world. Look at LIV and the PGA in the U.S.---even in a well established sport such as golf, we still hardly know how to say which league correctly represents the U.S. in golf. In fact, the Ryder Cup itself is a hodge-podge show of the U.S. with a selection of golfers many non-participants would claim is shoddy at best. And, how about the Rest-of-the-World side? Primarily EU .. or should I say, primarily UK sluggers, many other countries' players would feel under-represented. Olympics -- define "Chinese Taipei". I hope you see the complexity of this notion.

Getting back to U.S.'s national chess team on chess.com, I am incompatible with the ... fellows (best term I can come up with) who started Team USA clubs / groups way back when. They only accepted a certain political persuasion which I did not agree with and was summarily booted from the team; had nothing to do with chess. I posted an opinion because the team admin said it was okay for me and others to do so. So I did. Someone got offended. I got the boot. I do not see how that should qualify them to represent the US as a team on chess.com.
Bad idea this is.
