Hello Custom Variants Community!

Another month has passed, and we're back to voting for Golden Variants! This month is the first month in which we will include 4 Player variants, and as usual there will be various StrawPoll links down below using which you can vote for them.

Our All Week arenas have so far been successful, with hundreds of games being played in both of them; there are still 3 more regular Golden Variant arenas coming up in the coming weeks of May, so make sure to check out the arena tab to find out when those are starting!

After May, we will be on Week 16 of the Golden Variants series in 2024. These are the variants that have been played thus far / have been decided already:

Week 1 (2/24): Cross Derby
Week 2 (3/1): Rookmate
Week 3 (3/8): Behind the Mirror
Week 4 (3/15): Villagers Chess
Week 5 (3/22): Blackletter Chess
Week 6 (3/29): Mini Forest
Week 7 (4/5): Ashtandrez
Week 8 (4/12): Caught in a Snag
Week 9 (4/19): Minihouse
Week 10 (4/26): Amazon Jungle
Week 11 (5/3): Warui-shogi
Week 12 (5/10): Enchanted Woodland
Week 13 (5/17): Thermopylae
Week 14 (5/24): Infiltration Danger
Week 15 (5/31): Minihouse (Platinum Variant)

The format for the variant selection this month are as follows:

The first week (6/7) will be the newest accepted 4P FFA NCV, if applicable (e.g., if a 4P FFA NCV submission on variants.world is accepted between now and the finalization of the vote), and will be an all week (168 hour) arena. If not, then the slot will go to the runner-up for the 4P FFA vote and the arena will be the normal 72 hours long.
The second week (6/14) will be the winner of the 4P FFA vote.
The third week (6/21) will be the winner of the 2P vote. The vote will be between pre-selected 2 Player variants by the CGAs.
The fourth week (6/28) will be the winner of the 4P Teams vote. The vote will be between pre-selected 4 Player Teams variants (Self-Partner version) by the CGAs.

The votes will last for 14 days. The exact time left can viewed by entering the poll screens!
