A 144-square strategic simulation that replaces the standard 8x8 skirmish with a full-scale siege. Players command a diverse legion of 32 pieces each, starting in a dense, fortified formation. With pawns pushed to the 5th rank and a specialized back-row of 'Elite' pieces, the game bypasses slow openings for immediate, high-stakes tactical combat.

Hello there! Very interesting submission by you, but unfortunately this variant has severe issues that need to be fixed with the first one being that this variant is not unique. It feels like a bunch of pieces mixed together without any harmony or synergy. More than that, some pieces are extremely overpowered (amazons, they are very easy to get out) and some are useless (chinese knight does not get used).
All of this ends up in a gameplay that is trade-fest at times, with having dull games if both sides don't blunder as there are simply too many piece on the board. However, this is quite a solid foundation for a unique variant! Combination of strong pieces and leapers is a good foundation, you just need to make the game play unique! For that i recommend you removing useless pieces, setting a higher promotion rank and experimenting with the gamerules! Don't get upset, and good luck in your future variants!
cuz in some matches you're like "hey, can i pass?" and the other person's like " no way" I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it
