Hello everyone,

The Warui-shogi League – 3rd Tournament is officially begins, and sign-ups are officially open! This pinned thread will serve as our registration (and results) hub. Please read through all details and post your entry here before the deadline. Organizers will monitor this thread until it locks.

📅 Timeline & Sign-Up

• Sign-Up Period: Opens at 00:00 (UTC +00:00), Jun 1st, 2025, and closes in 7 days at 23:59.
• Forum Lock: Exactly 7 days after today, this thread will be locked—no further entries will be accepted.
• Tournament Start: Jun 1st, right in the Sign-Up Period.

🔍 How It Works

1. Joining

To enter, simply reply to this thread with "@[your username]" before the deadline.

Only replies before the lock count as valid entries.

2. Game Checking

Once the tournament begins, organizers will check your rapid and blitz rated games within the prescribed period (00:00 - 23:59, each day (UTC +00:00)).

3. Result Reporting

After checking your game, organizer will manually post the full game link and the final score in this thread.

4. Advancement

After each day, organizers will:

• Calculate points (win = 1, draw = 0.5, loss = 0).
• Calculate arena points (For rapid games: win = 2, draw = 1, loss = 0.2; for blitz games: win = 1, draw = 0.5, loss = 0.1; for win streak: win = [win points] × log5{[Win streak] + 4}).
• Update club ratings based on game outcomes.

5. Finals & Awards

After the last day, we’ll post a final announcement naming the first and second finisher.

Prizes (cheers, club's positions) will be distributed shortly thereafter.
