No problem, dude. But my point is, you don't have to wrap your riddle up, just agree with @SAM-SYSTEM, that Sam will give out rewards for his riddle, and you'll give rewards out for your riddle separately, no need to limit the thread to one riddle at a time.

Who am I?
I'm a Rook.As I waited for the right time to strike, I cared to listen to my fellow soldiers and moved up a bit after I had slided to the first open file on the center. That is how I learned to form a battery with my twin sister Rook-2. When she comes to stand behind me, we protect each other (we're happier that way) and we already pose a threat, while I'm still close enough to take care of my King!
If the battle takes place through THE DAY, I'll be well prepared on the E2 square.When we have to fight AT NIGHT, then I'll be vigilant on the D7 square.

@SPK1729 Is the smothered mate also a specific type? If so, I'd guess that it's the common pattern where you use the night and queen do a double check that forces the king into the corner, then sacrifice the queen in order to get the rook beside the the king, finally hopping the knight in for the final blow?

Yeah man, sorry about that. Like I said, I’ll wrap up my riddle tomorrow. I thought posting a riddle and then giving cheers right here in this thread to whoever solves it was a nice process...that’s why I asked @SAM-SYSTEM to delete it. But I now realize this thread is for everyone. I kind of zoned out after reading @ATM015’s message and didn’t read the room or the thread description properly. My bad!
