Arbunckle

ok, you mated with a bishop in a losing position ...

was it cool...

YES

would it be great to send it to a couple friends...

YES

is it worth sending a notification to 40,000 people?...

NOPE

Arjun1516

That mean annoying notification is also not worth sending to 40,000 people. No wonder you have no friends.

He didn't notify 40,000 people, just you. You notified just about everyone in the club, breaking the club's rules.

Arjun1516

That's not it club rules first of all and second he also notify 40,000 people if you are using the logic that I did that. Every post will notify the same amount of people. So to summarize you made 2 lies that are not true

thenomalnoob

Don't simply post a game link. There are over 10,000 games of 4PC played daily, so there isn't room for everyone to share his game. - Rule 1 - Forum rule

"New post content must be discussion-worthy.Don't simply post a game link. There are over 10,000 games of 4PC played daily, so there isn't room for everyone to share his game."
But he also said "If you're showcasing a particular game, be sure to add your commentary! We want to hear what about this game makes it special, unusual, tactically-advanced, etc."

Arjun1516

It is unsual because I got mate with a bishop to get a win.

thenomalnoob

Oh, I'm sorry. Now I can post more often!

thenomalnoob

The diagonal mate is very beautiful!

I wouldn't say that was tactically advanced. Maybe it is advanced for 1600 but not for 1900. also, stuff like that is not unusual, it is very common. ALSO, my responding to the forum only notifies people that are in this particular forum discussion whereas creating a new forum notifies the whole club.

Why aren't people allowed to post stuff like this. Shouldn't we try to grow the game and let people get excited and share their games. Also, what is the criteria for a post that doesn't "waste" everyone's time?

ChessMasterGS

Probably something with some good humor, or a post that has screenshots/explanations of the positions and game, and shows actual interest rather than a quick post made in an attempt to quickly wow other people.

Kyron_Chung

I have a game that all is bad, website: https://www.chess.com/variants/4-player-chess/game/51117430. this game I will open a new topic to talk about it. new topic website: https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/worst-4player-chess

As I said "This game yellow had a totally winning position and lost it by one move." You made this post to wow people.

I could give multiple of my own games that fit those criteria and far more detailed explanations than that; when I open forums, I usually don't want to see a low effort sentence and then a game link.

I don’t agree you because bishops are equal to knights BUT everyone especially the kings in CHESS MEMES consider bishop as an EVEN WEAK piece than the pawn! Yikes! But, Very few know that bishops play an important role in checkmating the opponent’s king.

Darksquareman

Whoever said anyone had to read the freaking notification
