Well I must say, it is quite remarkable that they've never encountered a hacker.
Well, its usually people who played Minecraft for a long time already who encounter hackers. If you don't mind me saying, he might be beginner level.
Well...it depends a lot more on what you're playing. If you've been playing Minecraft for 8 years but you only play singleplayer, obviously you've never encountered a hacker, (unless you are hacking!) but if you play on a multiplayer server for a few days (or weeks), you will probably encounter at least one hacker.
