When I play the Sicilian, I sometimes come against this opening, and I have never really looked at it. I sometimes lose against this opening and I don't know how to fight against it. Any tips?
play bd7 and just continue your development and castle
Agreed Bd7
Personally, I would play Nd7, and try to opt for a Dragon Sicilian setup. It works pretty well for me.
I play either Bd7 or Nd7
Both popular usually if Bd7 it encourages exchanges
thank you guys! I was a little puzzled at which move to play after Bb5+ and the idea after that haha
Bd7 is awkward, I suggest blocking with knight
Bd7
Yeah both Bd7 and Nd7 are great here, and I think they’re both equally good.
I'd block with Nd7 and kick away the bishop with a6. Trading bishops is another option.
Hangs a pawn
