I do not comply. If enough people say no it will jam up their machinery.

That might be true, but most of the idiots in this country do comply, cause the apathetic fools don't have the sense not to.
I think it's just a matter of people understanding how bad things are getting combined with understanding their rights and how important it is to assert them. :)
We're losing those rights.

People do indeed seem to be very apathetic about it.
Where the cops can ask the car owner, who hasn't done anything wrong, if they can search their car, and if the owner says no, that's considered "probable cause" to be suspicious. Then the cops can get a warrant.
