What happened to the time control 45|45

I remember using it once or twice, but now its gone forever.

I think you can still custom create that time control.

You can make any time control you like but, unless you've agreed with someone beforehand, good luck finding a match. Many have been pushing for a Standard time control, as at Lichess and, according to a mod here, that's going to happen, but not until early next year. I'd like to see 10/10 myself, but 15/10 is okay.

It's likely it was rarely used, comparatively to the ones that are there now

There is no 10/5. Or 15.... if you don't want to play Blitz or Bullet, you have only three choices, 10, 15/10 and 30.

A standard chess game, at a FIDE tournament, lasts between 2 and 6 hours on average. Chess.com has nothing like that, though it's in the works, just not until next year.

Standard chess, normally: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment added to each move from the very beginning.

Click more time controls

Read slowly. The time controls most see are those displayed when you click "Play". Even if everyone clicked more, the only other time control for anything but Daily is 60 minutes. And 60 minutes is still not Standard chess. Again, new time controls are in the works, just not until next year.

Also if you click more, then there will be 20min, 60min, and 10|5

I've tried 10/5 and 60 but usually had to wait too long for a match, iI assume because they aren't on the first page, so now I stick with 15/10.
