i have 2 accepted variants and since they hes been accepted i never heard of them anymore

Those are WoFs. After their first rotation in the WoF arenas, they might take 0.5-1.5 years to reappear given the number of WoFs in the cycle.
NCVs on the other hand are accepted much less frequently, so Golden Variant arenas might cycle them back every few weeks.

what happens if we got a variant accepted like 2 years ago before the merge and it has compeltely disappeared?
