I think I would have considered the story enjoyable but unrealistic, in my opinion
What if Fischer's story happened to be fiction not real story in hypothetical scenario
Sounds like a revolutionary in the world of chess. You know how Haikyuu made Volleyball more popular? If Fischer was fiction, then he would probably impact chess in the same way. I wouldn't think it to be unrealistic since it is imaginable how practicing like hell to become a crazy good chess player. But what makes this story more believable is that Fischer and Spassky had ratings about 2700, meaning some modern-day GMs could probably beat Fischer, even though he was the best of his time. Because now we have computers in this era of chess and they didn't, showing that past chess was less developed. Overall, I think the story would be believable.
if Fischer's life were fiction, it could be a lot more dramatic. Maybe he rises like a genius out of nowhere, but then starts losing touch with reality in a really intense way. A mix of brilliance and madness. It could have a more mysterious or tragic end, leaving everyone wondering what happened to him
Would Bobby Fischer's story about his chess dominance be considered too unrealistic by majority of audience if in a hypothetical scenario if it was a fiction not a real story? In reality know know about his dominance and excellence and believe it is possible because it actually happened. But I think if it happened in fiction people would see it differently
•If you read Fischer's story in a hypothetical universe where he did not exist but was fiction, would "you" have called the story unrealistic?
•What do you think about other people calling the story?
