I've been questioning my beliefs and I was wondering what is deism? I know the basics. However, I'm not really sure the pros and cons.

Wiki sayes, it is the believe in a god based on reason. A philosphical piont of view.

Deism: god creates the universe then stops creating. Theism: mankind thinks of god and then stops thinking.
