It's to tell you whether you're winning or losing, but it doesn't seem to work in that game.
It tells who the computer thinks is winning. If it says - then black is winning. Also the color of the bar tells who has the advantage.
Oh. your asking why that says black is winning. Probably just a bug

Yes I know annotation and I know what the eval bar does but first of all it doesn't display any numbers on the bar itself (eg. +2.3, -5.0, M5. etc) and it's white who is winning.
Maybe it's because you're playing automate

My bad sorry I couldn't see any numbers so thought you meant the numbers on the board.
It tells you who is winning. if the eval bar turns white and says plus a number, that means white is winning. If the eval bar is black and says minus a number, that means black is winning. If it says something like M3 or M2, that means there is mate in that many moves
