Leagues were removed in preparation for site wide release. That's currently planned for December 20th.

No, the plan was to do it on the 3rd but due to issues that day it was postponed. It got moved a couple of times. When it got removed from beta for the reset process, there was another change to the date and they also decided to make some changes as well.

Leagues have been removed site-wide and will be revived on December 20, 2021.
On December 20, 2021, you will be able to access leagues freely.
