Where to go with this group

Hi guys, as you may know, recently Jen has transferred the leadership of the team to me.  I had a few questions for those of you who are still active, so I can better manage the team.

1) Do we have enough team matches going right now?  Would any of you like some more?  I haven't played in the recent ones but I can now that my game count has gone down.

2) How would you guys feel about creating a "study" thread in the forums?  I think this would be a good way to get more activity going.  We could post our own games, get analysis from others, post useful learning resources etc.   This could motivate the team a bit more I think but it won't work if others aren't interested.

I have loads of free time that I can dedicate to this group so if you have any ideas, feel free to bring them forward!

More matches and a study group sounds like just the medicine this team needs.  Go for it.

A few more matches would be good.  How about a few games of vote chess? I  would like to find ways to improve my rating as well.  I study group would help for sure.

Ok, I'll be thinking of ideas to get that study thread going tonight.  I think I'm gonna start with a post about the importance of endgames, since I've recently finished reading Silman's Complete Endgame Mastery course and it was a great read.

I'll try and send out a few challenges tonight as well.

It seems the idea of a study thread do not go too well, mostly because people don't seem to read the forums.  But you all are still quick to join open matches, which is good.  :)
