Which do you prefer between e4 and d4?

e4 is much faster than d4 though there is more options for black

For newbie e4, for others you can choose what you want. That depends which opening are you playing.

D4.

g3 is better than all of these not so agressive openings even I play e4 a lot

i don't really mind i play both

e4 is better for me because there are more options and gambits after 1 e4.

If I have White, it actually depends on my mood. I can do Ruy Lopez, or Queen's Gambit, and I'm thinking of starting to do KIA just for variety.

Also, Stockfish 16 give btter advantage for white after 1.e4

D4, because there's less options for black. It's generally more positional, but there are some agressive D4 openings, like Blackmar-Diemer gambit and Jobava London.

E4, only Le Quang Liem prefer d4, d4 is his favorite move in the beginning.
