I decrease everything in vibrant visuals settings to lowest (except gamma) , set my render distance to 10-16 and it doesn’t really lag (I’m on ps5 too)
Also there is a setting in a&s that keeps the textures but adds only animations

Mobs hit for farther away in bedrock, the wither is SO MUCH HARDER, the ender dragon is also harder, most bedrock players play on mobile so managing inventory is so hard, especially bundles
In java I think combat is better because you can't just spam click someone to kill them, you have to actually time your attacks and be strategic.
Also, in bedrock, If you want any add-ons to do cool stuff you have to buy MINECOINS AAAAGHGH but in java YOU CAN DOWNLOAD INFINITE FREE LAG-REDUCING MODS, SHADERS, AND ANY MOD YOU CAN POSSIBLY THINK OF

True bro the ender dragon is hard because it WAS LOOPING AROUND THE FRICKING MAP and it was NOT willing to stop so Yeah, I think java is better
I think bedrock is better, but as @OtherMeep said, Java is a LOT easier. I play bedrock, so I think that it's better, but still, Java gets all the updates first, you regen faster, and other stuff is easier.

Well, if you beat the game in bedrock, I think you feel more accomplished than if you beat it in java, because its easier in java.
My friend who plays Bedrock. came to my computer, started playing, flew to a village (creative) and the first thing they said was it's so much easier on Java to tame cats
Bedrock is only better for servers and playing with friends. For servers its easier to navigate in them. And when playing with friends Bedrock allows you to do it MUCH easier

I also use Actions and Stuff but the PS5 has barely any optimization for vibrant visuals so I just use the classic texture pack to make it feel vanilla.
