Depends on how I'm feeling. Most of the time it's caving, but if I just wanna zone out then strip mining

Didn’t strip mining not work anymore after caves & cliffs?

I only go in caves, and usually in my worlds, I am nearly always in caves.

Efficiency of it dropped but it still works

caving i look for trial chambers or ancient citys

I know that machine, but idk how to build it. It kinda looks like an endgame mining technique but its great

Caving. It is more productive and efficient than strip mining. Also I have good luck finding mineshafts when caving.

Usually caving because I get insanely bored with stripmining

Strip mining is safer and a little more reliable if you know a good pattern.

What I do is mine 6 blocks ahead and then just mined the left side of as far as I can, and the left. I got 17 diamonds In 30m once. I also just suck at finding cave holes.

It does you just are more likely to run into another cave or a lava pool tha before, still better

i heard that it cost a ancient debris per machine. idk, just heard of this.

Caving, you can find so much more ore and you can get xp from mobs, not to mention finding obsidian farms and/or underground structures like mineshafts & ancient cities

FOURTUNE THREE WHOEVER SAYS OTHERWISE IS A NOOOOOOOOB
I once mined 5 diamond ore with a fortune 3 pick and got 17 diamonds, not to mention the time I got a stack and a half of lapis from like 4 lapis ore blocks

I would rather get fortune 3 pickaxe, with the extra resources you can get getting a silk touch pickaxe later won't be so hard.
