Who is Your Favorite Master?

Hey guys, I just thought that we needed something do just let our opinions out on.

Please post below who your favorite master is.

I have two of them......................girlfriend and dog! They both think they own me and they're right 

 That's not exactly what I meant but good answer.

So were you looking at chess or philosophy? 

At first chess, but now I guess both.

For me in chess it's Paul Keres. I've always wondered if the rumors were true that the Soviets made him lose to Botvinnik. Keres and his widow always denied it but it sure is suspicious that after Botvinnik became champion Keres began to win some games against him.

Interesting.

The story...........if you believe it.........was that after the Soviets overran the Baltic States they screwed with Keres because they were mad at him for playing in German tournaments when after Germany overran the Baltics. I mean assuming that's true what the heck did the Russians expect the guy to do? But I love his games though. In an old book of his that I have he's quoted as saying to the effect he wanted complicated games because he thought a potential positional game would be boring
