Will quantum computers be able to make engines better?

I'm sure that when quantum computers will be understood well, all engines will be better.

Will chess engines ever get to ~10 billion calculations a sec? Also do you guys think there's a limit to calculations a sec?

Quantum computing will be a huge revolution in chess. However, it is estimated that computing power doubles every year. So, by 2031, we'll see a chess computer which is 1024 times smarter than our current ones. We need not wait for quantum computing to upgrade our engines.
