Who used Fritz, Junior, Hiarcs and Shredder in the 2000s? I used Junior 6 and Fritz 7 and 11. Junior really impressed me. It plays very dynamic and can do positional exchange sacrifice. If someone knows where to download old engines, please share.

Lc0 is one of the top 3 chess engines in the world, as we know Stockfish, Dragon and Lc0 always make for good chess matches. But what if I were to tell you that Lc0 lost to the last place engine in the CCC20 Bullet: Main with the white pieces (the engine with the white pieces has the better position, but black can still hold on to draw the game)? Crazy right! Well it happened and the game right after that Clover ended up drawing with the white pieces to win the pair. To show you I am not lying to you, I will post the link here: https://www.chess.com/computer-chess-championship#event=ccc20-bullet-main&game=643 or, if you don't want to use the link go to the CCC20 Bullet: Main (1|1) game 643 move 17 Now that I have shown you where you can see the game, here is the game: I would like to hear possible explanations on this horrible blunder by Lc0, thank you for your responses! Edit: I just went to Game Review and it gave Clover 3 brilliant moves!! 17.Bg3!! 30.Nf6!! 36.Be6!!

The engine Dragon is currently in 5th place in the CCC 21 Rapid Main. Dragon was recently a top 3 engine but got booted out by the new engine Torch. Stockfish, Torch, Lc0, and now Berserk are leading Dragon. Will Dragon recover and return to top 3, remain in 5th, or will Ethereal pass Dragon? *Edit Rubi is attempting to pass Ethereal, so it might be Rubi who passes Dragon instead of Ethereal, or it could be both who pass Dragon

Hello everyone, so I was trying to look for the Berserk logo but I can't seem to find it. Anyone could help me with this? Thanks

The Mystery engine goes into the last 250 games of the challenger match with a 32 game lead over Dragon. Mystery score: 391/750 Dragon score: 359/750 At this rate, Mystery will end the Challenger Match with a 43 game lead! We haven't seen an engine take on Stockfish in the finals other than Leela or Dragon. Mystery could even have a chance to beat Stockfish in the finals at this rate! The last engine to defeat Stockfish in the finals was Leela, but Leela has been knocked out of the Challenger Match. It will be an exciting to see some other engine than Lc0 or Dragon in the finals! I would like to hear your thoughts about the Mystery engine more than likely making it to the finals.

I'm sure that when quantum computers will be understood well, all engines will be better. Will chess engines ever get to ~10 billion calculations a sec? Also do you guys think there's a limit to calculations a sec?

Komodo NNUE is here. The engine name is Dragon, and is currently 3rd place in the CCCC.

The engine "Mystery". It is playing in the CCCC right now. Is it new? It doesn't have a rating, or a bio. Plus it was created in 2020.

I think in this Bonus you guys have done everything right. You test the best engines, also the cutting edge ones like Leelafish, and you chose Pohls Drawkiller Opening Book. I think for this occasion that is the perfect choice! I would like to have seen the balanced drawkiller book though, since I like that one the most. But anyways, the drawkiller book is phantastic. Also the time controls for such an event are exactely right. I think for me that is the most interesting CCC event ever. Also outperforming TCEC Thanks and cheers!
