Win rate against countries - Suggestion

Hello, I have a suggestion today that we should be able to see the win rate against every country. I think it would be very interesting to see. Especially because many countries have their own typical playing styles and this could be a great way to get a better understanding of someone’s strengths and weaknesses in terms of playing styles like for example positional or tactical.

Looking forward to see your opinion!

The average win rate would be better than just the specific player as you don't know who are you even playing

That would be pretty cool! Imagine, let's say you moved to a different country because of certain reasons or because your family is from a country and you were born in another country and you could compare the two!

It already exists, per pool, on Insights.

That might make a few countries mad.

It exists, you only have to be a diamond member to see it

Yea, but like more of the sense for all users on chess.com. Just like insights, you could use it without needing to be a member but not to the extend like those of a member could. Maybe it could just be like that. You'k like just a list of the maybe top 50 countries or smth for non-members and then for actual members have more and an extra feature to compare a lot of countries at once. And, as me being a non-member, I think it would be fair for those of non-member and member users of chess.com. What do yall think?

Things that are really resource intensive, are most likely going to be premium only, or potentially Diamond only. Going through all games to provide deeper statistics are one of those things. To get top 50, all games for a format (or all games potentially) have to be evaluated to present the data.

Yes, just what we need: nationality stereotypes... Let's absolutely bring more racism into chess! 🤨

*Lol 😂 In all seriousness, though, I think it's quite a neat idea.

I would be nice even for those who are not diamond members and go against people of the same country multiple times to see how many times they win compared to losing average
