diplomacy could mean even more teaming

they basically target one person 2 or 3 target the other dude and that dude gets whupped since it is a three/two vs one If your super lucky it might be a two vs two which is not going to happen. So the other person gets sad that they got teamed and checkmated. Which u don't want, u want the game to be fair

and lets not have a conversation/spam

I thought of Diplomacy, but that would just encourage more teams, I think, everyone is just deciding who to take, I forgot the possibility of pre-arranged teams though, and focused on in the chat teams.

This reminds me a lot of the single pawn+king endgames in War for Throne. There's a lot of opportunity for cooperation between players, but it's a lot sharper than it appears. Alliances are temporary, and there's no guarantee of continued protection once it's in your opponents' interests to turn against you! Great work!
