So in this game, there are two stages and many ways to win 

 

stage#1 before the maze freezes 

ways to win:

- have another player move their king where you can kill it. 

- if you can check the other player first you will usually win- but remember you can use the yellow pieces to check your opponent (double-check)

- otherwise, capture pieces in key positions so when the maze freezes it will be better for you(long diagonals for blue open files for green).

Second stage ways to win 

- if you can trap your opponent in a corner he will have to move where you can kill him 

- if you have more points and have a place to hole up(a place where your opponent can not possibly get to) move fast and wait for repeated moves/60move. 

- win by checks.

things to remember (with stage)

-1- watch for double checks 

-1+2- don't let your opponent get the first check 

-1- get more points 

-2- don't get trapped

-1- make the maze good for your non knight piece

oh and 1+1 delay was the best time I found (enough that it could not go on forever if people had to think but if people holed up they could get 60move.

Hello.
Thank you for posting the new Wheel of Fortune game! We reviewed this position and found some winning lines for green. The main advantage of green is that if players start to check each other's, green will win due to this wall (blue will not be able to check blue but blue will). Therefore, if blue will try to avoid checks, green will take the most expensive pieces (knight-riders) and win again.

Another advantage is that Elephant has more opportunities where to move than Hawk (in this position). So on "stage 2", when yellow is checkmated, Elephant has much more chances to win (though usually, if both players played well, the game ends with 3-fold repetition (and green still wins since he has more points). But in general we like your concept, red-checker + yellow with number of checks + DW look really interesting.

So, we are looking forward to see your other creations! Or you may try to improve this one. Even adding dead pieces to the center (to interfere to green) might work. Or adding more pieces to blue and green!

But for now,

yes now I see what you are saying - it did not come up in my testing games because green would play an attacking move instead of a slow progress move and allow blue to double-check him - in my games blue won more than green.

but if people took the time to study this green can slowly force blue out of the center.
