I like the idea, it doesn't look like endgames are boring, and promotion is balanced. Only thing I don't like is 1. The name; something like "Royal Garden" would probably be better. 2. Those empty 3x2 grid rectangles could be used for some more pieces/dead pieces. Overall +1
