This concept of 2-players and 2 mate-able bots has gotten really popular recently (I'm making one myself). You can keep using this concept as long as there are major differences from the other games using the concept. Unfortunately, this is a little too similar to Combat in a Bunker (previously named D. F. W. S. V), which plays out exactly the same way, albeit with different piece types. In addition to this similarity, there is an NCP-like phase after the bots get mated. WOFs need to be exciting, so games cannot take too long. If you find that your WOF has this kind of NCP-like phase (in other words: too complex for the short time controls of WOFs), consider removing any randomness and going for a casual NCP, which is allowed to have zombies. As it is, these two reasons force us to decline this position.

BoxJellyfishChess, grable said it’s combat in the bunker. Plus what’s the difference really between his an mine? I can’t see anything in your post sorry if this is offensive. It’s not meant to be.

Sorry, it is combat; edited now. The main difference, aside from the fact that combat was posted first (which matters because they are similar), is that combat in the bunker had an open position with much more powerful pieces. After the zombies are mated there, usually the game is decided fairly quickly: whoever mated a bot first wins due to tempo advantage and a quicker attack on the opposite. In this game, after each player mates a bot as is usual, the games are often too slow and drawn-out for a WOF. Hope this cleared up any confusion.

Yeah.
