That's what hyper is for, it'd be a mediocre game if it was something like 1|2

Red can be tricked into attacking opponent via sacrifices, in endgames it is needed for when kings are close to KOTH.

I've played it and it's interesting and fun. Time control is good (I've tried with 1/2 and it was too slow). But did you think about 3-Check? I think 2-Check is a bit too forced.

Maybe 3-check will work, I needed to quickly punish rushing toward the center.

just as a note, I originally played for this to be called "Red Light, Green Light", based off the game in the tv show Squid Game... but there's no "green light", although I still managed to create some sort of intensity at the endgame happy.png
