Reason: The variant is too drawish, and with basic defense initiated by any player via moving the queens forward, it's always possible to opt in for a draw by sacrificing one's royal to a zombie.

Inspired by Bottleneck chess, the games are very hairy as they end in a draw a lot of the time if a player's king is taken. Develop into the diagonals and middle of the board to stop the enemy pawns from promoting into a king and stealing the game away.
Here I feel the f-checker and f-muncher combo stops players from acting too out of line, such as if they run towards koth too early they will usually get attacked by the bots in quick order. This somewhat alleviates move order, typically they will trade towards the player on their side, blue towards red and green towards yellow.
Koth squares and some of the walls were adjusted to make koth further away as well as where the pieces for the bots were placed, and the pawns used to promote to a wilderbeast. Notably swapping the position of the pawn and rook made it harder for the bots pawns to promote and emphasized an entirely different strategy for them, currently they will trade into the players and then attempt koth, before they attempted koth immediately leading to takeovers more frequently. Swapping these aspects as well as fog of war could be good ideas.
Given this is a WoF, I'll have more leniency, but is king capture = draw really a good thing, especially given that this is Fog of War?

This is a quirk of FFA with zombies when the bot captures a king the game will end in a draw for the players, at least in this position potentially due to play for mate.
At least for the rating system this differentiates players who were unable to defend themselves against the bots.
As far as draws go I can only concede this is a major problem I don't think I can remedy easily. I have another version where it is cooperative against the bots but that version is just worse with similar pitfalls. This position is similar in concept to my other WoF Lining the Field but taking a more conventional piece set, I like it but I must leave it at this.
