World Championships: KIA in game 4

Hey, all, it appeared Carlsen opened with the KIA in yesterday's game.   It ended in a draw.

Or am I just too ignorant of the Sicilian...?    (which I would understand)

It would have been more interesting if White had played an earlier d3, Nbd2 :)  I still think this is still considered KIA territory, I've seen the idea of d4 after exd5 in a few other games, I myself like playing against the isolani in these positions.
