My pvp fail is getting knocked off a large structure in a set of iron armor while trying to parkour away from a guy with a wooden sword and no armor >:(

My PvP fail: I was on a map with lava and obsidian platforms, and I jumped at a guy to crit, miscalculated my jump and landed in the lava. And I died.

Another time, I was on a horse and I had a flame sword, and I hit the guy in front of me then walked into him, setting my horse on fire and killing it.

@FES: Why were you running? If you had a knock at him, your armour would've taken the sword hits (I Think)
I was afk for a minute and he came up and started hitting me and hit me to 3 hearts. he also had a diamond armor skin so I was spooked.

I got back to the computer after he punched me a dozen or so times.
I have this really bad fail. I was killing this AFK guy who had mega stuff, when some guy came up and punched me into the lava. And he had nothing! He killed the AFK guy and got all the stuff.

The server had a plugin that shows how many hearts of health players have. After I got killed, I remembered that the guy could not have had armor by the rate of his hearts coming off, and if he DID, I would obviously have been using hacks (which I find extremely unethical and noobish, so I don't use them).
he was still taking damage? FES, armour doesn't protect from poison or wither. Fire ,yes but it is barely noticeable (The change that is)
I got back to my keyboard and saw him hitting me and then I fought back.
and by the rate of hits you were dishing out to the rate of his hearts dropping..... I SEE! 0w0
The story was a little fuzzy. Couldn't get all of it back in my mind all at once.

Post your worst fails! (Eg, you can have a pvp and a build fail or something else!)
PvP: I was owning this guy whilst I had gold armour on, My mouse fell of and I got killed (I move the mouse around alot XD)
Build: I made a build for someone, thought I had a backup and as fun, blew it up. There was no backup.
Another PvP: I was dying and sunk and began to really get some work into the guy killing me. I had to rise for air (I had iron armour and he had diamond so he survived) Once I rose, he copied my strategy and killed me. (I'm not a pro in the slightest.)
