I am going with Nanmei's death. It was not needed, but oh well, and Rengoku's death was too tragic in my own eyes, but it was too important for the plot for him to die

There are some Naruto fans who are irrational so they think everything was perfect there xD
For me, Neji getting skewered by a bunch of sticks is just absolutely mind blowing and outrageous. Portgas D. Ace dying for literally no reason after all that was done was wild. Then Itachi who was never actually a villain, Hiruzen who died after merely sealing Orochimaru's arms, Maes Hughes who was killed in the most unimaginable way possible. Among others. What are your picks?
