nice, good luck to the winners!
WOTB League
Average rating of teams or what exactly? 6600/4=1650 if you think about this one.
I just wanna know if there are chance of 2200, 2400s, ... participating. If yes, most are already lost
It is a team league. If someone brings a 2200-rated player to the team, then yes, it is possible for them to participate. However, that also means the rest of the team will need to have lower ratings. For example, if you are going to play on board B2, you likely won't be paired against someone rated 2000. Why? Theoretically, it's possible, because 2000 + 2000 = 4000, but that would mean that the players on boards B3 and B4 would need to be rated (for example 1200 and 1000), respectively. Also, if you’ve read the forum, you’ll know that even if someone’s rating is below 1000, it is still counted as 1000. And if your team's B3 player is 1500, he will most likely beat that 1200 rated player, so even if you would lose on B2 against that 2000 rated player, your B3 would most likely win, and it would be 1-1.
Introducing the Warriors of the Board League!
This is a rapid, team-based tournament where different squads compete head-to-head. Each team can have up to 4 players, with a maximum of 2 substitutes. To participate, you must first join our club, where you'll find a forum with detailed information about the event.
To register a team, the team captain must message me with the team name and the names of at least 2 players. Teams that don't yet have 4 members can recruit additional players from within the club, as long as the chosen player is not already on another team. Join the club here:
