So that tournament you guys had. i signed up for it and you guys bumped me. I was the second to sign up and you dump me why?? Because of my score.My score is a little messed up because of the tourneys i didnt know what i was doing at First. Now if you look at my win loss i am great. Why did you guys screw me. and if you are like that then please tell me how i can find a group that wont do that to me again. Thanks again.... for nothing

I'm sorry.  What are you talking about?  We didn't bump you from anything.  I'm the only administrator in this group, and I haven't even been online. 

I'm guessing you're referring to one of the new team matches.  Unfortunately, the way Chess.com has the matches set up, if more than the maximum number of players sign up for the match, then only those with the highest rating will play, and the lowest rated players get pushed out, regardless of what order they registered.  That's why I set the matches for a small number with the autostart turned on, so that there would be less time and opportunity for anybody to get "bumped out."

The longer the teams have to register, the more likely that the higher rated players will occupy all the boards.  Now I obviously don't want to discourage our stronger players from signing up.  So to give all the rest of our members a chance to play as well, we're trying two different things:

1) more matches, smaller matches, auto start - this should minimize the registration period and maximize the potential for the earliest players to register to stay in the match without getting "bumped."  Unfortunately it didn't work that way in your case.  I'll be starting more up soon.

2) very big match, everybody joins - we've got one starting up now against the C Project.  If you sign up for that one, the odds are you will not get "bumped."

I'm really sorry you didn't make the cut this time.  There have been a number of threads in the main forums about this current weakness in the Team Match system, but Chess.com has not changed it yet.  I assure you that I did not manually remove anyone from anything.

oneplayer that stayed in was at 1200.<that sucks. I understand now and i am sry for flipping out. Just wanted to play and didnt understand what went on,Buckeyes till The end. It looks like they might go to playoffs soon. Well is Obama has his way but the issue is that michigan still wont be able to play lol
