I'm currently reading a number of books about Whiskey. More about the others later. Right now I'm finishing a book called "99 Drams of Whiskey: The Accidental Hedonist's Quest for the Perfect Shot And the History of the Drink" by Kate Hopkins.
Basically, the author (A noted food critic and author) and her friend tour Ireland, Scotland, the U.S. and Canada touring different distileries and sampling various whiskey from around the world.
In addition, there are tons of cool stories about the history of whiskey (and for Hussain, while the Chinese discovered distillation, the Arabs created the still ((for medicinal purposes of course, lol).
This is an easy, quick read w/ lots of info and very entertaining - I highly recommend it to the group.
