Welcome to the Mcat chess club.

Please do not spam request. Before you request to join, take note of the following:

Firstly, this is a private club. We will only allow members who are personally known to admins or those with good reasons to join in. Thus, if you send a request, please enter two reasons why we should accept you. They should not be the same, and you should take note that we will deny anyone who gives no good reasons for joining.

Secondly, we do not tolerate spamming or any other breaking of chess.com rules. We will ban members and deny requests of those who we have evidence or reason to believe do not follow the chess.com rules and our set of rules.

Thirdly, you can report members to SAs (super admins) and give evidence PRIVATELY via a message. Only write in the notes if they either spammed or use verbal abuse.

Finally, for those wondering what the rules, these are the requirements we have for members:

Section 1:

-Do not request for admin/coordinator

-All messages should be related to chess

-Do not advertise

-You should not join or be in any clubs on the banned club list (which will slowly be built over events in which they cheat or commit offenses)

Section 2:

-repeatedly committing offenses under section 1

-blackmailing

-lying to an admin, Coordinator or SA

-Verbally abusing someone or threatening

-(as an admin, SA or coordinator) not joining 3 Multi club arenas in a row with no good excuse*

-Being inactive without good excuse for 2 weeks or more*

-sandbagging

-being purposely disrespectful or not listening to an SA without owner permission*

Section 3:

-cheating

-supporting a known cheater

-having a political stand and advertising it

-being biased in any way at all or discriminating others (or showing prejudice)

-purposely supporting another club with no good excuse

-stalling

-spamming

-(as an admin or coordinator) accepting event or player request without consulting and getting permission from an SA*

-Repeatedly committing offenses in section 2

-trying to get personal information from another member or giving away personal information

(-This list will be modified-)

*=members known to an SA will be exempted

There will be punishment for those who break these rules. For committing offenses in section 1, you will get a warning from the owner or a SA twice before it becomes an offense under section 2.

For section 2, depending on offense, you may either get a warning, be reported, or upon blackmail, be reported and blocked by all active SAs (for an SA to not do so would be to commit a Section 2 offense).

For section 3, you will be reported and banned without prior warning.

Those who know an SA may state so in a request and if the SA agrees, you will be accepted into the club. Also, please note that the rules apply to members who are not in the club, and also, if we have evidence, even non-members of chess.com.

Why should you join us?

Because, by joining, you will be able to improve yor skills too! We regularly take part in events, and also have many puzzles for you to try.
