''John 3:16 says Jesus died for the whole world without exception.''

Answer: it says God loved the world yes, no Calvinist denies that, but the world cannot possibly be meant in the Arminian meaning of the word. Since in doing so, would include those in the Americas. who have no way of meeting Romans 10:9. Additionally, the word ''world.'' is not always meant in the context of every person on the planet. ex: John 12:19. ''οἱ οὖν Φαρισαῖοι εἶπαν πρὸς ἑαυτούς Θεωρεῖτε ὅτι οὐκ ὠφελεῖτε οὐδέν· ἴδε ὁ κόσμος ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ ἀπῆλθεν.'' notice the Greek Kosmos there. the same Greek word used in John 3;16. by Arminian logic, the entire world followed Jesus. and Context shows this cannot mean the entire world. if this were the case it would certainly contradict John 17:9. ''I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.'' the word Kosmou [genetive singular form of Kosmos] is used here. therefore, the world cannot possibly be the entire global population.
