*If you issued a challenge but I wasn't online, please leave a note and I'll talk to you personally*

Greetings! if you have seen this, which means you're interested to know more about me and therefore we should become friends. Another reason that you enter my profile might because you want to challenge me, and it's totally ok and therefore we should also become friends. If we already established friendship, then I feel sincerely sorry for you.

                                    ↑Just kidding                                                                                  My awful stats→

My name is Neo Yang, Neo is my English nickname and there's no way I'm going to tell you my real name unless you can speak Chinese smoothly. I meant no offense, but non-Chinese speakers would never pronounce it right. I was born in China, of course, and I migrated to the United States three years ago. I am currently a 9th-grade high school student who loves play chess and doing puzzle rush during my class period and also, I SUCK at English.

I've started playing chess since I was at the age of four, which is a reasonable, indirect explanation that I'm just a stupid person who sucks at this game because I'm still struggling at 1500-ish ratings - this number changes, hopefully, and it better goes up. Actually, the truth is I stopped playing chess after a year I started it, which is the age of five, and resume back again nine years later.

I also play the piano professionally, except I'm not. But it all depends on how you define the word "professional", and I do upload some of my videos on the Instagram pianist.neo, if you're interested please go check it out. If you follow me on Instagram I'll follow it back, like for real. I also like photography, tennis, drawing, and creating stories - like novels. I also play Chinese chess, if luckily you know how to play, challenges are welcome.

I usually accept any challenges, rated and unrated. I'm not afraid of rated challenges is because people who have low ratings usually would get rented, and losing to a high rating player is a good experience, plus I wouldn't lose too many points, therefore I would not accept a rated challenge with similar rating players. I do care about my ratings, so I would always do my best in every match. I like to play 10 minutes and bullet games, and if I lost in a rating game, I will rage.

Have fun playing chess! You are the best!
