Arena Tournament INDEX
There will be 7 arenas in total, this will have a maximum duration of 2 hours for each arena, any player with their main chess'com account can participate; In the event that the player wishes to play with his approved alternative account, he may do so by making the corresponding request to the organization, in case of being approved to compete, he must participate from the beginning to the end of the tournament, only with said previously authorized account.
Ideally I would like to say that it is very valuable that all interested players are very active in the competition, there are 7 Arenas in total, it would be great if you can participate in all of them, if you cannot attend all the Arenas there, no problem, the important thing is that you can at least participate in as many as you can to increase your chances of success.
Notes:
- On this occasion, the most active and constant players will be rewarded, but also with the highest score obtained in the Arena. It is allowed to participate in the 8 Arenas and may accumulate more points.

What are Arena Tournament?
Arena Tournament are fast paced, action filled events where you try to earn as many points as you can in a certain amount of time. There are no rounds in an Arena League. Players are paired nonstop after their games until the timer runs out.
How do points work?
You earn points by winning! A win is worth 2 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0.
Score:
TEAM/SOLO/2PC: Win= 2pts, Draw= 1pt, Loss= 0pt
FFA: 1st= 4pts, 2nd=2pts, 3rd= 1pt, 4th= 0pt
Win streak multiplier:
TEAM/2PC: 2win in a row= x 1.5 | 3rd or more= x2
SOLO/FFA 2win in a row or more= x2
TPR
Tournament performance rating based on win ratio and strength of average opponent played against.
What are win streaks?
If you win multiple games in a row, the value of each successive win increases!, expressed in the previous paragraph.
How do pairings work?
You'll be paired with people as close to your rating as possible while still giving you games as quickly as possible. Start your games as quick as you can to get the most wins, and most points possible!
How are winners determined?
The Arena winners are determined by who has the most points when time runs out! The amount of time an Arena lasts depends on the time setting of the games. If there is a tie, then the victory will go to the player with the longest streak. If it is still a tie, then it the winner will be the one with the most wins. If that is still a tie, then the player with the fewest losses will win.
Note: Rules are subject to change. New rules and modifications may arise in the future.
Parameters: Requirements, Restrictions and Solutions INDEX
All players interested in participating, must know the requirements and parameters of the Tournament:
- Players must be part of the Discord server, to maintain effective communication. This allows players to confirm their attendance and always stay informed of what is happening in the competition.
- If a player does not show up for the appointment, he may be replaced by another qualified player, or by a player who has participated in the Arena, or by an available player or by an organizer.
- If any player is late for his appointment, he could receive a warning and even expulsion from the League or Tournament. This behavior is the sole responsibility of the player. He may also be substituted by any other player decided by the organization.
- If a classified player does not show up for his next appointment, he may also be substituted by any other player decided by the organization.
- The player who does not notify his arrival in Discord, saying: I'm ready to compete!, could be replaced.
- The top 32 ranked players will be sent a notification, in which they must confirm their participation by saying: I'm going to compete!
- If a player is sick or has a personal problem that prevents them from continuing to participate in the Tournament, they will be substituted by another player.
- Brackets (Anonymous), this was requested by the same competitors and it turned out to be a success, we will keep it this way, but it could be modified in the future, it is subject to change.
- Initially, the official schedule that is already published will be respected. In the event that a player selected within the top 32 is unable to attend the competition, players clasified between #33 and #43 or more, will have the opportunity to participate in the tournament. These players will be sent a notification indicating if you are interested in being a possible substitute player.
- The player can be replaced by any other available player.
- PlayOffs: A player who has lost a game in 8th may return to compete as a "substitute" to replace a clasified player who was unable to make their appointment or withdrew from the competition, and may even qualify and continue to compete in 4th and semi-finals.
- Any player can participate as a substitute, even a player who has not previously played in the Arena.
- An organizer can substitute any player.
Disconnections
- On or before move #3, the game is canceled and played again.
- After move #3, the game continues. If a disconnect occurs and time runs out, it will unfortunately be considered a loss.
- If there is a disconnection due to server problems, everything will be at the discretion of the organizer or referee.
