Guys i was gifted with this wood pieces (brazil). do anyone know about this pieces manufacturer?? i thought they are such a besutiful design

It bothers me the knight is taller than bishop. But I like it overall. Nice set. No idea where it's originated

i cutted a slice of the knight. now it is shorter then bishop....

hello guys.

after a few months and a lot of work i finished the restoration os my Bonato chess pieces (whites only).

some missing parts were replaced by resin copies.

now i will start the restorstion on black ones...

new photos soon (i hope).

by the way, we were able to made modeling of this rare Bonato pre mod 1 ( Brazil production 1968-1971)

Beautiful set and the white pieces once restored are gorgeous. Best wishes on the blacks.
