its not trash im just trying to honor my dads memory by seeking an enthusiast to buy the set.  Its beautifully made by the Franklin Mint

Honestly, that is more for a Civil War enthusiast as playing a standard game of chess with it is not very practical. 

While you could play a game with it, it is much more of a display set. Most chess players, IMHO, would not want to play a serious game with it.
